Who are we?
Hi I’m Tim and I’m currently an engineer for Northwell in a cancer research lab. I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physics and I’ve been tutoring both science and math subjects for the past four years. I specialize in physics but I can tutor anything up to Calculus 4 as well as advanced Physics and Chemistry courses.
Hello! My name is Kevin and I am currently a Master’s student at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. My passion for tutoring started in high school and grew during my time at Cornell University where I assisted students and collogues in rigorous mathematics subjects. I have tutored math subjects ranging from Algebra 1 to college calculus. Even though math has always been my favorite subject, I too have gotten frustrated with learning complicated concepts for the first time!
My name is Joseph Motis. I graduated from Farmingdale State College in 2020 with a degree in Applied Mathematics and a minor in applied economics. I am currently enrolled at Hofstra University working towards a degree in Mathematics Education with STEM integration. I have extensive experience using discovery learning techniques including the use of technology and manipulatives to help students better understand mathematics. In addition to this I have real world classroom experience with students.
